In response to the overwhelming number of devotees flocking to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the temple administration has made a significant decision to extend the hours for ‘darshan’ (sacred viewing). Devotees will now have the opportunity to witness Ram Lalla until 10 p.m., extending the evening darshan time from the previous 7 p.m. closing.

During the morning shift, the darshan period will commence at 7 a.m. and conclude at 11.30 a.m. This adjustment aims to accommodate the substantial influx of devotees, with approximately five lakh individuals currently in Ayodhya, eagerly awaiting their turn to experience the divine presence at the temple.

Recognizing the remarkable turnout, the Ayodhya district administration has issued an appeal, urging devotees to consider visiting Ayodhya in the coming 10-15 days to have their darshan of Ram Lalla. The ongoing devotion has prompted the deployment of more than eight thousand policemen to ensure the smooth functioning of the system and maintain order.

The presence of high-ranking officials further underscores the significance of this situation. Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar and Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad are personally stationed in Ayodhya, actively monitoring the evolving circumstances to guarantee the safety and well-being of all devotees.
